Chez Marie Pou

Terms of Use and Sale

These terms govern the use of the Chez Marie Pou website, client app and services.

1. Identity and contact

Chez Marie Pou is the registered trade name of 9516-6534 Québec inc., the legal entity that operates an interactive local boutique serving Trois-Rivières, surrounding areas and Quebec. Its registered office is located at 158 rue Loranger, Trois-Rivières, Quebec G8T 3T5; this address is not accessible to customers. The service includes a catalogue, orders, live events, auctions, credits, missions, messages and delivery or pickup options. Customer service can be reached at chezmariepou@gmail.com or 819-384-8872. Administration can be reached at 819-384-1226.

2. App access

Customers must provide accurate information, keep their password confidential and notify us quickly if unauthorized access is suspected. Some features may require email verification or an eligible plan.

3. Products, availability and prices

Products, prices, descriptions, quantities, promotions and availability may change. In case of an obvious error, stock issue or publishing problem, Chez Marie Pou may correct the information, cancel the affected item or offer a reasonable solution before finalizing the order.

4. Orders and invoices

A cart request, reservation or winning bid may be converted into an order or invoice according to the app workflow. Customers must review items, amounts, taxes, fees, credits and contact information before paying.

5. Payments, taxes and credits

Payments must be made through accepted methods. Applicable taxes are added where required. Credits, rewards, discounts or internal benefits are subject to the rules shown in the app and do not necessarily have monetary value outside the service unless otherwise stated.

6. VIP, paid accounts and monthly periods

The paid plans currently displayed in the app cover a fixed one-month period. The displayed plan price includes applicable taxes. Payment is one-time: the app does not automatically renew the plan and does not make recurring charges. At the end of the period, the customer may choose to purchase another period; not renewing creates no new payment.

Auction bidding is available to every active client account, including the free account. VIP adds a 2% rebate in internal credits on the eligible portion of products actually paid before taxes, excluding credits used, delivery and ineligible items. These credits have no cash value, are not retroactive and may be used only under the rules displayed in the app.

The VIP bar adds up eligible purchases made during the month. When the displayed threshold is reached, one free VIP month is automatically scheduled to begin the following month. This free activation creates no charge, paid renewal or retroactive rebate. The account must remain active and eligible.

Seller and Seller Pro plans primarily offer a respective 5% and 10% commission on eligible sales of products owned by Chez Marie Pou, actually paid by clients attributed to the member's personal link. Commission is calculated before taxes, excluding delivery and credits used; a cancellation or refund may reduce or remove it. Attribution, eligibility and amounts remain subject to verification by Chez Marie Pou. No sales volume or income is guaranteed, and commissions may be subject to applicable tax obligations.

Submitting personal goods for consignment remains a secondary Seller-plan option, subject to approval and separate terms that disclose fees retained by Chez Marie Pou. Before payment, the app presents the plan name, price, duration and main benefits or limits. Effective and expiry dates are then displayed in the client area.

7. Delivery, pickup, returns and refunds

Pickup, drop-off point, delivery, return, exchange, cancellation and refund options are described on the Delivery, Returns and Refunds page. Mandatory consumer rights in Quebec continue to apply.

8. Auctions, games, missions and promotions

Every active account may bid in auctions; no VIP plan is required. Auctions, games, missions, contests, credits and promotions may have their own rules, including eligibility, duration, limits, winner selection, prizes and usage conditions. Important rules should be displayed before or during participation.

9. Communications

Chez Marie Pou may send messages related to accounts, orders, invoices, deliveries, payments and service requests. Promotional communications must respect applicable consent and unsubscribe rules.

10. Privacy

The use of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy. Customers may request access, correction, consent withdrawal or deletion of certain information where permitted by law.

11. Prohibited uses

The service may not be used to commit fraud, bypass rules, interfere with app operation, create fake accounts, publish misleading content or violate another person's rights.

12. Mandatory rights and limits

Nothing in these terms limits the legal warranties, remedies or mandatory protections granted to consumers under applicable Quebec and Canadian laws. If a clause is invalid or unenforceable, the other clauses remain in effect to the extent permitted.

13. Changes

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the app, services, policies or legal obligations. The update date indicates the most recent version.
