Chez Marie Pou
Delivery, Returns and Refunds
Last updated: August 11, 2026
This page explains the service rules that apply to Chez Marie Pou orders.
1. Service areas and options
Chez Marie Pou primarily serves Trois-Rivières and surrounding areas, with options that may include delivery, drop-off points, pickup or other arrangements announced in the app. Some deliveries may also be offered elsewhere in Quebec depending on availability, fees and logistics.
2. Fees, timelines and availability
The fees and timelines shown in the app or on the invoice apply to the order. Timelines may vary depending on volume, weather, inventory, addresses, route availability and constraints outside our control.
3. Customer responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate contact information, remain reachable and follow pickup or delivery instructions. Additional fees or delays may apply if an address is incomplete, the customer is unavailable or a delivery must be attempted again.
4. Special items
Some items may be excluded from a voluntary return or subject to special conditions for hygiene, safety, clearance, customization, final sale or perishable nature. Any exclusion or commercial condition specific to an item must be shown before the purchase is confirmed. It does not limit legal warranties or other mandatory rights.
5. Cancellation before receipt
A cancellation may be requested before final preparation, shipment, delivery or pickup. Eligibility, fees and consequences are confirmed before the cancellation is completed. No unannounced fee is added without the customer's agreement, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
6. Returns and exchanges
To request a return or exchange, email chezmariepou@gmail.com or use the app messaging feature. Include the order or invoice number, item, reason and relevant photos. Do not return the item before receiving instructions. The response states eligibility, the return method, any applicable fee disclosed before purchase and the refund method.
Unless a more favourable condition is shown before purchase, a request for an eligible voluntary return must be submitted within 14 days after receipt of the item. Item-specific exclusions are described in section 4. Legal warranties and mandatory remedies remain available even when a voluntary return is not offered.
7. Missing, defective or damaged items
If an item is missing, defective or damaged upon receipt, contact us as soon as the problem is discovered and include photos where relevant. After review, Chez Marie Pou confirms the remedy offered, which may include replacement, repair, refund or another remedy consistent with legal warranties. An internal credit is used as settlement only if the customer accepts it.
8. Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method unless the customer expressly accepts another method. Chez Marie Pou confirms when the refund is issued; the posting time then depends on the financial institution.
9. Consumer rights
This policy does not remove any mandatory rights provided by Quebec and Canadian laws, including applicable legal warranties and distance contract protections where those rules apply.
10. Contact
For questions about an order, invoice, delivery, return or refund, email chezmariepou@gmail.com, call customer service at 819-384-8872 or use the app messaging feature. The registered office at 158 rue Loranger, Trois-Rivières, Quebec G8T 3T5 is not accessible to customers and is not a return address without prior authorization.
